HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

IS YOUR SITE SECURE?
Yes.  Absolutely.  We use the latest in secure technology and processes to help ensure the security of your transaction, personal information and financial data.  Our online store uses secure SSL technology to help prevent anyone else from viewing your personal and sensitive billing information.

Once you enter the shopping cart or even when you login with your User ID, you enter the "secure mode".  Please keep in mind that we do not keep your credit card or financial data and we adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard created by Visa and Mastercard and periodically purge all personal and financial data from our systems.

 

CAN I PLACE AN ORDER BY TELEPHONE?
Yes.  Please call us at 856.988.0028 during regular business hours or feel free to leave a message with your contact information, and we will promptly return your call as soon as one of our customer service associates is available to take your order.


CAN I INCLUDE A PERSONALIZED MESSAGE OR CARD ALONG WITH A GIFT ORDER?
Yes, you can as long as it is an item that is shipped directly from the melange Home Decor & Gifts warehouse.  We offer this service free of charge to you.  We cannot include a personalized message or card with any merchandise that is dropshipped directly from one of our manufacturers to you.

 

DO YOU OFFER GIFT WRAPPING?
Yes, we glady gift wrap items for no additional cost.  As long as it is an item that is being shipped directly from our warehouse, we will be happy to do so.

 

HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY ONLINE ORDER WAS RECEIVED AND PROCESSED SUCCESSFULLY?

HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY PURCHASE?
All orders are usually processed the same day that they are placed and are shipped by United Parcel Service - Ground unless you choose expedited shipping.  Orders are shipped out from our store approximately 3-5 days after that time and an additional 3-5 days for actual shipping to you.  In all, it could take up to 10-14 days until you receive your order at your destination.

Please feel free to call us at any time to check on the status of your order, if you have any questions about your order or have not received your tracking number/confirmation email from us in a reasonable amount of time.

DO YOU SHIP TO CANADA OR OTHER FOREIGN COUNTRIES?
No, not at this time but we hope to be doing so within the year.  The cost of shipping outside the 48
contiguous states, to Canada or any other foreign countries can be cost prohibitive.

DOES melange HOME DECOR & GIFTS HAVE AN AVAILABLE PRINTED CATALOG?
No, we do not have a catalog at this time.  We are constantly adding and selling out of items.  We strive to have the best selection of new products anywhere.  Printing catalogs are expensive and by not printing them, we can charge less.

 

DO YOU OFFER QUANTITY OR VOLUME DISCOUNTS?

DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT?
Yes, we do have a storefront located in a shopping plaza (CVS Plaza - Across from Kings Grant) located at 401 Taunton Lake Road, Marlton, New Jersey.   


HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?
We opened our storefront in October, 2005, on Route 70 in Marlton NJ.  We recently downsized a bit to a smaller location on Taunton Lake Road and are still located in Marlton!    Due to the overwhelming demand of our unique products, we began working on our online store on our website.  We recently launched our website in May, 2008, and have already gotten a very good result from it.

We price our items very aggressively and strive to give you the best prices possible.  We have thousands of items at our storefront and in time all of these items will be on our online store.  We also have items in our online store that we do not carry at our storefront.

MY PRODUCT ARRIVED DAMAGED , WHAT DO I DO?
(1)  It is important to note how the product was damaged. (i.e. was the product AND packaging damaged?  Or, was the packaging okay but the product was damaged?)

(2)  Call or email melange Home Decor & Gifts to notify us that your product was damaged at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or 856.988.0028 and we will issue you a RAN (Return Authorization Number) and will instruct you on our returns process.

(3)  If the product AND the packaging were damaged upon its arrival to you, the damage was most likely caused by the carrier.  If this is the case, we will then direct you to contact the carrier (usually will be UPS Ground) to file a claim with them directly.  For UPS Ground, call 1-800-742-5877.  They will ask you for your tracking number from the outside of the box on the shipping label.  UPS will then walk you through their claim process.

(4)  If the product was damaged BUT the packaging appears undamaged, the damage is most likely a manufacturer defect.  If this is the case, we will ask you to return the item to us and will credit you for the shipping expense to return it to us.  We can either ship you a new product and/or replacement or will refund you for your purchase.
